As promised, I’ll share a few more quilts from the big MQX show. Did I mention last post, that there seemed to be more quilts with glimmer and shimmer? I had to find out which methods were used.
As many people around the Portland area are aware, the MQX West show opened this week. It was everything I had hoped for and then some. I am sharing my impressions and photos of some of my favorite quilts. Two installments to cover it all.

Here’s the latest art quilt I’ve been working on, like a busy little bee. love the wild abandon , the bold color. I gave myself permission go with my inclinations. It was made with the intention of a companion piece that harmonized with my last abstract quilt, “Down the Rabbit Hole”.
As you may have knticed I have a lot of photos included in my art quilt blog pages, this is ovbously because I enjoy photographty and I enjoy making art quilts as well. I am sure you are all aware that I will soom be opening my my art web site. I’ll give more details later.
I plan on keeping my etsy shop open to carry all sorts of non art items
Spring flowers, who loves them? A huge show of hands go up in response, in our minds anyway. How many of us lose our breath over beautiful flowers?
WIth the warmer weather comes new growth, flowers blooming and people out doing fun acyivties.There are so many photographic opportunities.. So our cameras are clicking, recording it all.
