This is a floral art quilt, but I wanted to add a contemporary spin, a little non traditional. So I chose to give the flowers and stalks a disproportional profile. Here’s the latest art quilt I’ve been working on, like a busy little bee. love the wild abandon , the bold color. I gave myself permission go with my inclinations. It was made with the intention of a companion piece that harmonized with my last abstract quilt, “Down the Rabbit Hole”.
