A follow up to my iphone “sunset out of a moving car window ” photos. I have gotten a good start on an art quilt using some of the car window pics as an inspiration. I’ll post the small beginnings tomorrow.

Impressionist art quilt
What I liked about this fabric was it’s impressionist style, the way it resembled a watercolor. I wanted keep focus on the painting itself, no fussiness to detract or obscure. . So, to preserve that element, I came up with my plan of action. Don’t cover the fabric by too much fussing. Easy on the thread painting and quilting.
Janome’s new Horizon 8900 QCP Want to know what I think?
Janome has recently released it’s latest Horizon 8900 Q C P. When it’s release was announced apparently many quilters began to form a line. I’ll share my inital impression.
