Quite a few irons in the fire
I’ve been busy busy trying to get some of the projects I’m working on finished.
Been out of touch, too much going on, my head is spinning. I’ve been working on 4 quilts, one of which is for a friend. That quilt is first in line. I’m having fun working on it. The other 3 can wait, they’re for my Etsy shop.They’ll get there.

“Here’s The Finished Quilt” Now that this art quilt is completed, I’m going to share a few more photos of it, in it’s final form. Many of the elements in this quilt will look familiar, because I’ve been posting photos all along, showing it’s progress as I’ve worked on it.

A few posts back, I mentioned an unfinished project I had restarted. Was I just having a little free motion fun? Or was I seriously considering this a legitimate quilt? Was this my guilty little pleasure, like some low brow TV show that you enjoy, but would never admit it?

I vacillate between ” This is too insanely wild” and “Oh I’m just having a little fun”. I ask myself “If I ever finished it, would I have the nerve to put it in my shop?” I haven’t got a clue, but in the meantime, I still just having fun.

Time Lapse, You Can Look Over My Shoulder
This is a time lapse of photos, following this piece of fiber art as it takes shape and become a real piece of art. A few photos along the way, it is a mixed media work, so I used some non quilty methods.

Quilts can be like people, Sometimes quilts just don’t photograph well. Me either, take 100 photos, you won’t get a good one I guarantee. I’m beginning to wonder is this what I really look like?

These parties were all done in the Obsessive Entertaining style. By definition this involves never knowing when enough is enough, that’s my hallmark. I’ll show a couple examples today and save more for the future posts in this series, known as the Obsessive Entertaining Style.
